Fun. Friends. Faith! That's what Young Life is all about. From club to Campaigners to weekend or week-long camp trips, we give teenagers a safe, fun, welcoming atmosphere where they can hear about Jesus. We give them a place to belong!
Raleigh Young Life now has 14 different clubs throughout the Raleigh area including Broughton, Enloe, Garner, Leesville, Millbrook, St. David's and Sanderson high schools; Daniels, Ligon, St. David's and West Millbrook middle schools; the Urban neighborhoods of downtown; a Latino Club; and YoungLives club for teen moms.
Each of the clubs listed above hold weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly club and campaigners.
Our mission in Young Life is to meet and love high school kids where they are in their lives. We strive to build relationships with them and show them there is more to life through Christ. Our hope is to lead them into a relationship with Christ, to walk along side of them, and help them grow in their faith.
Leaders in Raleigh
Young Life leaders are compelled by the love of Christ to hang out with teenagers. Leaders are committed to being involved in kids' lives -- from supporting them at their sporting events to listening to them talk about what's important to them. Our leaders help kids consider the direction of their lives, and they offer hope for their future through the truth of the gospel.
All of the leaders in Raleigh are either paid staff or volunteer leaders. The majority of Raleigh YL leaders come from N.C. State, Meredith and Wake Tech. College students interested in becoming a leader go through training their freshman year and are placed on a Young Life team in the beginning of the spring.
